People in all over the world always try to download most popular video games. Day by day video games become more popular to our new generation people. For the availability of good internet connection, it’s become easier to play any popular video games from anywhere. If you have a user interface or input device – such as a joystick, controller, keyboard, or motion sensing device then you easily play any video games from your home by showing on a video display device, such as a TV set, monitor, touchscreen or virtual reality headset. Video games are often augmented with audio feedback delivered through speakers or headphones, and sometimes with other types of feedback, including haptic technology.

The first popular video games were simple extensions of electronic games using video-like output from large room-size computers in the 1950s and 1960s, while the first video games available to consumers appeared in 1971 through the release of the arcade game Computer Space, followed the next year by Pong, and with the first home console the Magnavox Odyssey in 1972. Today, video game development requires numerous skills to bring a game to market, including developers, publishers, distributors, retailers, console and other third-party manufacturers, and other roles.

What Is the popular video Games Terms?

As every video game is different, the experience of playing every popular video game is impossible to summarize in a singular statement, but many common elements exist. Most games will launch into a title screen and give the player a chance to review options such as the number of players before starting a game. Most games are divided into levels which the player must work their avatar through, scoring points, collecting power-ups to boost the avatar’s innate attributes, all while either using special attacks to defeat enemies or moves to avoid them. Taking damage will deplete their avatar’s health, and if that falls to zero or if the avatar otherwise falls into an impossible-to-escape location, the player will lose one of their lifes. Should they lose all their lives without gaining an extra life or “1-UP”, then the player will reach the “game over” screen. Many levels as well as the game’s finale end with a type of boss character the player must defeat to continue on. In some games, intermediate points between levels will offer save points where the player can create a saved game on storage media to restart the video games should they lose all their lives or need to stop the video games and restart at a later time.

Components of a popular video games?

Poplar video games can be subject to national and international content rating requirements. The most popular video games components are described below:

Platform

Video games require a platform, a specific combination of electronic components or computer hardware and associated software, to operate. Games are typically designed to be played on one or a limited number of platforms, and exclusivity to a platform is used as a competitive edge in the video game market. The list below is not exhaustive and excludes other electronic devices capable of playing video games such as PDAs and graphing calculators.

Computer video Game

Most popular computer video games are PC games, referring to those that involve a player interacting with a personal computer (PC) connected to a video monitor. Personal computers are not dedicated game platforms, so there may be differences running the same game on different hardware. Also, the openness allows some features to developers like reduced software cost, increased flexibility, increased innovation, emulation, creation of modifications or mods, open hosting for online gaming (in which a person plays a video game with people who are in a different household) and others.

Home console

A console video games are played on a home console, a specialized electronic device that connects to a common television set or composite video monitor. Home consoles are specifically designed to play games using a dedicated hardware environment, giving developers a concrete hardware target for development and assurances of what features will be available, simplifying development compared to PC game development. Usually consoles only run games developed for it, or games from other platform made by the same company, but never games developed by its direct competitor, even if the same game is available on different platforms. It often comes with a specific game controller.

Handheld console

A handheld video gaming device is a small, self-contained electronic device that is portable and can be held in a user’s hands. It features the console, a small screen, speakers and buttons, joystick or other game controllers in a single unit. Like consoles, handhelds are dedicated platforms, and share almost the same characteristics. Handheld hardware usually is less powerful than PC or console hardware.

Arcade video games

An arcade video game generally refers to a game played on an even more specialized type of electronic device that is typically designed to play only one game and is encased in a special, large coin-operated cabinet which has one built-in console, controllers (joystick, buttons, etc.), a CRT screen, and audio amplifier and speakers. Arcade video games often have brightly painted logos and images relating to the theme of the game.

Browser video games

A browser video game takes advantages of standardizations of technologies for the functionality of web browsers across multiple devices providing a cross-platform environment. These video games may be identified based on the website that they appear, such as with Miniclip games. Others are named based on the programming platform used to develop them, such as Java and Flash games.

Mobile video games

With the introduction of smartphones and tablet computers standardized on the iOS and Android operating systems, mobile gaming has become a significant platform. These popular video games may utilize unique features of mobile devices that are not necessary present on other platforms, such as accelerometers, global positing information and camera devices to support augmented reality gameplay.

Cloud video gaming

Cloud gaming requires a minimal hardware device, such as a basic computer, console, laptop, mobile phone or even a dedicated hardware device connected to a display with good Internet connectivity that connects to hardware systems by the cloud gaming provider. The game is computed and rendered on the remote hardware, using a number of predictive methods to reduce the network latency between player input and output on their display device.

Virtual reality

Virtual reality (VR) games generally require players to use a special head-mounted unit that provides stereoscopic screens and motion tracking to immerse a player within virtual environment that responds to their head movements. Some VR systems include control units for the player’s hands as to provide a direct way to interact with the virtual world.

Emulation

An emulator enables games from a console or otherwise different system to be run in a type of virtual machine on a modern system, simulating the hardware of the original and allows old games to be played. While emulators themselves have been found to be legal in United States case law, the act of obtaining the video game software that one does not already own may violate copyrights.

Educational video games

Education software has been used in homes and classrooms to help teach children and students, and video games have been similarly adapted for these reasons, all designed to provide a form of interactivity and entertainment tied to game design elements. There are a variety of differences in their designs and how they educate the user. These are broadly split between edutainment games that tend to focus on the entertainment value and rote learning but are unlikely to engage in critical thinking, and educational video games that are geared towards problem solving through motivation and positive reinforcement while downplaying the entertainment value.

Serious video games

Further extending from educational games, serious games are those where the entertainment factor may be augmented, overshadowed, or even eliminated by other purposes for the game. Game design is used to reinforce the non-entertainment purpose of the game, such as using video game technology for the game’s interactive world, or gamification for reinforcement training. Educational games are a form of serious games, but other types of serious games include fitness games that incorporate significant physical exercise to help keep the player fit, flight simulators that simulate piloting commercial and military aircraft, advergames that are built around the advertising of a product, and news games aimed at conveying a specific advocacy message.

Beneficial uses of video games

Besides their entertainment value, appropriately-designed video games have been seen to provide value in education across several ages and comprehension levels. Learning principles found in video games have been identified as possible techniques with which to reform the U.S. education system. It has been noticed that gamers adopt an attitude while playing that is of such high concentration, they do not realize they are learning, and that if the same attitude could be adopted at school, education would enjoy significant benefits. Students are found to be “learning by doing” while playing video games while fostering creative thinking.

The purpose of video games development

Video game development and authorship, much like any other form of entertainment, is frequently a cross-disciplinary field. Video game developers, as employees within this industry are commonly referred, primarily include programmers and graphic designers. Over the years this has expanded to include almost every type of skill that one might see prevalent in the creation of any movie or television program, including sound designers, musicians, and other technicians; as well as skills that are specific to video games, such as the game designer. All of these are managed by producers.

Copyright of video games

Creators will nearly always copyright their games. Laws that define copyright, and the rights that are conveyed over a video game vary from country to country. Usually a fair use copyright clause allows consumers some ancillary rights, such as for a player of the game to stream a game online. This is a vague area in copyright law, as these laws predate the advent of video games. This means that rights holders often must define what they will allow a consumer to do with the video game. However, copyright law does not protect general principles of a game.

Recieved sooner than expected. It’s perfect for our kids minecraft-theme room. Only complaint, is that it’s a good bit smaller than our regular light switch covers, by about an inch on all 4 sides…but my kid loves it, so not a deal breaker, just seems a little over-priced for the quality.

I rarely post reviews on Amazon, however, I felt I had to do it on this item. I’m an engineer and found it appalling at the lack of precision that these cheap plastic parts were made. This is nothing like the old classic Mouse Trap game you played as a child where things actually worked and pieces were made of thick sturdy plastic! This whole game is built around things fitting together crisply to make the game work. One bent or poorly molded plastic piece and the game is essentially junk. My recommendation is to look for an older used version on eBay. This was junk and returned the same day I received it…where the part labeled “thing a ma jig” snapped onto a post that was angled instead of straight, making the second marble not fall properly. Junk, junk. junk.

First off let me say: I LOVE Lego games. And the short version is you will love this game if you love Lego games.However. The game is relatively short and compared to others in the lego series makes this not worth $60. It only has 12 levels of story mode, and a fairly small map that after ~20 hours I’ve almost completed the game (compared to probably 40-60 on other lego titles)The other big issue I have is the how many, and lengthy the posting screens are. A game in 2018 should not take this long to load, and it really cripples my enjoyment on replay value. I want to 100% the game but it’s honestly a chore to sit through the loading screen, the cut scene (which is skippable but then creates an additional loading screen) and then when the level ends you go to ANOTHER loading screen. Which takes you back to free roam. And you have to rinse and repeat for all free play levels.Tldr it’s a fun game but is absolutely not worth full price. Wait until it’s on sale

Out of the close to 10 Lego Video games I’ve played since Lego Star Wars, this seems to have less effort put into it than any other. The biggest issues I had were the bugs that make it look like a rushed game and the fact it crashed my PS4 twice. When I say it crashed my PS4, I mean I had to shut down my console and launch the game again. I’ve never had this happen with any Lego game (or any PS4 game) even after the recent update. The graphics look really cheap for a Lego game, a lot of the voices are off because they don’t have the original voice actors, it’s missing a lot of small features found in other Lego games that improve the overall experience, and honestly it looks like a rushed game. I was genuinely afraid it was going to mess up my PS4 with how bad it crashed my console. It can be a fun game at times and I hope they tweak out the bugs. Knowing TT, they probably won’t. I’d say wait until it’s $20 or less if you’re a big fan of the series.

I am a serious gamer, but like to take a break, once and a while and play a Lego game. This game is so much fun! I love the cool music . Make sure that you see the Incredibles 2 movie, before you play, because it does follow the story line, and will spoil the movie for you. The cool thing is, that after you finish the story line on the game, you will be able to unlock the Incredibles 1 story line, and play through it. I was not even aware that was on there, so was pleasantly surprised. There are several side missions to complete etc., and it is so much fun, that I am actually not getting bored working toward getting 100 percent, which usually happens on Lego games, I have played in the past. It is also fun to see these different movie characters in Lego form, and to use their different super powers when playing.I have played a lot of Lego games, and this is one of my favorites, so far.

Not much to say. Minecraft is a great game. You just get the case and the game inside, but I buy physical anytime I have that option. Long live physical media!

It’s Minecraft. On a new platform. I mean, we have it on our computer, the PS3, the PS4, the Vita, and on our phones. Why not start over yet again? My teenager told me that there are all new updates to be had on the Switch. Mother of God, will it ever end??

This is the original version of the game you are looking for. The cheaper addition is not a “build the trap as you play” like the original. The trap is good quality and works great. This is a great game to play with the kids. For the all reviews of people saying parts don’t line up, or cheaply made… they are putting the game together wrong… or letting their nostalgia of this game go on a much higher level than it really was! It truly is the same game.

What I enjoyed about this product was the quick delivery. However, the plate did not fit correctly . I really had to manipulate it to get it to screw in and now it is warped. The worst thing about it is that the background is PINK. The picture shows an off-white color so I bought it for my sons room. I had to do my best to paint over the pink so it matches the rest of his room.

My son loves skeeball and bowling, unfortunately both of these games need to be unlocked by playing more of the mundane games the collect tickets (in game currency) to purchase said games. Needless to say, my son doesn’t want to play and now his 31 year old father has been playing home run derby non-stop in an attempt to unlock the games he wants to play… Now, I don’t really mind this to much as I am a gamer and well, home run derby is pretty sweet, however 2k should have really had an option allowing parents to just simply unlock games so your kid can just play what they want to play without the hassle of going through hours of H.R.D.Regardless, I can see this game being a 4 star game ONCE the games are unlocked, its a shame that so far no games make use of the built in technology like Wii Bowling… this is more just press the x button and move the joystick… simple enough for kids, but hey, rolling your wrist forwards or backwards isn’t exactly “complex”….Parents, be prepared for some home run derby to unlock the games your children actually want to play. Dads, man your 6pack, there will be some long innings.

I purchased 2 copies of this version of Minecraft to play with my son who lives in another state. After having trouble figuring out how Minecraft was going to work under the Nintendo Online system I went ahead and bought two versions and started fiddling with it. That’s when I noticed how poor the system works with 2 big problems.1. The game in theory, will let people (each with their own Nintendo Online account) to play together without using Microsoft Realms. I thought this would be a godsend, but it seems Nintendo hasn’t done a great job aligning the features and my son soon realized that you can create a new world and both of us can play on it, but when we log out he can no longer join that server. Doesn’t matter if I make the server/world, or if he does, you seem to only get 1 play out of it. I looked at NAT types, I’ve tried port forwarding, and slew of other things. Nintendo/Mojang support is not helpful either with this problem apparently plaguing other users.2. The game itself is very buggy considering how it seems Nintendo Online handle latency and other issues. I found myself disconnected on a few occasions, or situations where I could no longer see my son’s avatar even though he was right in front of me (I witnessed this over facetime). Other issues like landscape (FOV) not appearing seem pretty common in multiplayer. The singleplayer is fine and the controls once you get used to them work great, but the primary reason I got 2 copies of this was so I could play online and that feature is doesn’t work. If the problem can be resolved I’ll change my review.Update: 6+ months later and the Nintendo Online feature still does the same thing and I’ve had to continue paying for a microsoft realm for us to both play on.

Great game. A lot of fun. However, I do have some complaints. I am a noob and it took a lot of work, looking online, youtube videos, and going through the menus to try to figure out what the game was even about, how to win, etc. It also does a pretty poor job of tutorials and the menus aren’t very intuitive. There are a lot of confusing mechanics and options in the menu and the translation to english in the tutorials seems like there is something lost in translation. Additionally, I got it for a party tonight, excited that there would be 74 fighters as advertised, but only 8 are available. Fighters are randomly unlocked by playing the game for hours. You might unlock 2 in 1 hour or play for 4 and unlock none. Plus you have no control of who gets unlocked. Excited to play as Snake or Bayonetta? Good luck. Literally. Unlocking them is just random luck. Kind of a shame for people that just want this as a party game and don’t want to put in all the effort and time to unlock all the characters that were alluded to being available. Still fun, once you put in the time, unlock the characters, and figure out how to play, I think it will be fantastic.

My preorder from another store came Thursday afternoon, so I’ve been playing with my kids for about eight hours. It totally lives up to expectations. It’s in no way perfect, but there’s just so much good that I don’t see how anybody can be sad. It’s a game I’m going to be playing for years, and I’m going to enjoy it for years. If you’re a parent, your kids will love playing with all their friends. If you’re a returning player, all the nostalgia and great Smash gameplay is here. If you’re new to Smash, this is a great game to play with other people. When you first boot up, you’ll have access to eight characters: Mario, DK, Link, Samus, Yoshi, Kirby, Starfox, and Pikachu. Unlocks happen pretty quick, but we’ll see how long it takes to unlock all 74 characters. I love some of the new costumes like the Mario Wedding costume. I read an online unlock guide that said if you quit the game after unlocking a character and play another quick round that you’ll unlock lots of characters quickly. When I say quit the game I mean to exit the game on the Switch home menu. That’s worked well so I did that for a while on my Switch to unlock quickly so I could play with lots of characters. I didn’t tell my kids about this because I want unlocking on their Switch to be more organic and slower.Lots of characters have pretty big differences in how they play and lots of characters have small differences and lots is the same. I don’t even know what to tell you. Switching out pokemon with pokemon trainer is really fast. You can detonate Link’s bombs remotely. The basic gameplay is the same so Smash fans will pick up on things really fast. I still think that Smash is the best game for fighting game beginners because the controls are very simple.Gameplay is faster than the past few games. This can make battles more crazy. The only complaint about faster gameplay is that it’s harder to keep up with both your character and everything else that’s happening on the board. I’ve lost my character a number of times. I almost wish we could get an option for colored outlines for all the characters. I might just be out of practice, so we’ll see if this is still an issue after a while. Is it balanced? There are 74 characters–who knows! And since Smash for Wii U had balancing updates, this will be different in a year from now. I will say that the kids and I have fought with all sorts of characters and nobody’s thought that any seemed overpowered. We’re just barely starting to see the changes to characters and how new characters work and we’re still unlocking characters. The Smash community will be finding things out for months and opinions are going to change over and over.I love that you can save rulesets. You can customize the game heavily with more or less stuff. You can have lots of items or no items or specific items or more lives or change the Final Smash options. It’s really cool to have all your quick pick favorites but at the same time making rulesets is a little slow. I feel that as I get rulesets made that I’ll really like it. Today being new, I’ve really wanted to make a tweak between games and it’s been kinda slow because of all the options available. We are a two switch family and it’s going to be a pain to make all our rulesets twice. I really wish there was some way to bring rulesets with you.I don’t know how it could be done better, but the stage select is just one big picture of little tiny squares. It’s almost too much. I wish there were an option to show you like 12 random stages rather than all of them. We’ve mostly played on random so far because it’s overwhelming! The graphics and animation takes a step up from the Wii U more than I thought it would. The stage graphics are awesome and there are so many new touches that are really cool. The N64 stages feel updated but classic. It runs very smoothly in tv mode and we’ve not played in handheld mode. The music is awesome. There’s just so much variety. It all sounds like it’s made on a computer, but it’s all really good music. I hear there are over 800 tracks…Controls feel great. The joycons aren’t the perfect smash controller. The thumbsticks can’t keep up with a good player. The pro controller is better, but the gamecube controller just feels right. Maybe I’m nostalgic, but I’m really enjoying playing with the gamecube adapter. My daughters prefer the joycon because that’s really the controller they know. My 11 year old son also likes the gamecube controllers (but I guess he could be feeding of my choice). If you’re really serious about the game, I really suggest your getting the gamecube adapter. Mine that came with Super Smash Bros Wii U works great, but I see they’re selling it separate now. It sold out quite a few times in the Wii U era, so you might want to pick one up now!Local multiplayer is awesome. I think you can play with 8 players on every stage. We’ve had five people playing lots of battles and it’s been a whole lot of fun. This is Smash Bros to us!We don’t play online, so I’m just ignoring that. I’m sure lots of people will be talking about how crappy it is or laggy or great or amazing or horrible. We play with family, with friends, with church youth, and with anyone around a TV.World of light is the single player story mode. My first impression is that it’s not as good as Sub-Space Emissary from Smash Brawl, but it looks like a decent way to play alone and unlock more stuff. Kinda like I don’t play online, I don’t play the story mode that much. My son is excited about it, so I’m glad it’s here. I’ll just let others who want story mode more review it better. Collecting spirits to affect your character and the stage seems really cool, but I hear that it just means that the uniqueness of the stages go away so all the stages seem the same. You will run into stages with fog. If you have a spirit badge that takes away fog, it just makes it another normal Smash battle. We’ll see how fast it gets old for my son. They’ve said there will paid and free DLC. Piranha Plant will be free DLC for early adopters and will be available early next year. There will be 5 paid DLC packs that each has 1 new fighter, one new stage, and music tracks. The first one will be a Persona 5 character! They haven’t announced any others yet. These packs will be six dollars each or 25 for the set. They haven’t set a date for the DLC but they’ve said all 5 packs will be available by 2020. I assume one will come every few months.Overall, it’s an awesome game. With the free Piranha Plant, you get 75 fighters to pick from. There are over 100 stages. There’s just so much Smash. It plays great and it’s a lot of fun. I totally suggest this!

Well, this is still the most frustrating game ever made! Congrats Hasbro for successfully selling the worst game ever made, a second time around!!!I purchased it for my son (in hopes the game would be better this time) and after finally getting it set up, it failed, and failed, and continued to fail. The course will not successfuly work!!! The marble at the top of the course will not roll forward no matter what we try. We even tried various tricks found on YouTube to make it work (tape over the marble hole, adjusting the “helping hand”) and it has continued to fail and frustrate. So, if you want to re-live the most frustrating game of your own childhood, and pass this painful memory onto your children, go ahead and spend the money!I’m give 2 stars instead of 1 only for the fact that I was able to spend well over an hour of quality time with my son before it turned into a crying, frustrated meltdown…my son was pretty upset too!

Items looks just as shown in the picture, but was very thin and cheap quality. I probably wouldn’t have noticed if I wasn’t taking my original cover off though. It’s not bad, but definitely not worth the price it is.

So I read the reviews. Most talking about having to unlock motion controls or various games. The old one made you unlock games too so I thought eh that’s not that big of a deal. It gives me some kind of goal. And heck for $20 how bad could it be right?Well, the graphics are terrible for a game originally sold at $50. The controls and UI are confusing. The games are very basic (not like some of the delightfully difficult games in the original). There are no special game versions like the old one. When you play split screen games, it does a full four-way split even if you’re playing with AIs, so it’s hard to see. It’s slow to load everything. The algorithm for earning tickets is all over the place. You may earn 40 tickets for first place or you may earn 3. And once you do unlock all the games (it took us less than an hour) there’s no real goal to work towards other than some weird outfit items. Oh and the games aren’t real carnival games. Most are just weird made up mini games with a carnival vibe.Unless this game drops to like $10 do not buy it.

I’ll admit firstly I never got into the fortnite craze. I bought this because I figured it wouldn’t be too much different than normal monopoly but I was completely wrong as it’s almost completely different. In this one everyone has 15 health points, whoever is the last one with health points is the winner. You don’t purchase anything you just get locations by landing on those spaces, when a space is claimed the other players who land there have to take away however many health points it says unless there’s a storm there. So the whole idea which in this way it’s pretty similar to the normal monopoly all you’re trying to do is take as many spaces as possible while also trying not to lose all your health points by traps and other players. It’s easy to learn for the most part except for these really small details they don’t explain, it’s a very strange variation of monopoly and I’m mixed on it really. It’s nice to have 27 characters to chose from, but just like with the in game costumes none of them besides what my brother calls a Direwolf are all that cool to me. At least it’s fun and the game is a lot shorter than actual monopoly, but the rules do take some getting used to if you’re used to normal monopoly.

I got this gift for my son for Christmas. He’s a Fortnite fanatic so I wanted to get his something Fortnite related but not V Bucks, I saw this and thought “perfect”! Wrong. We played it (as a family) one time and then never again. It was fun the first time because we were learning how to play which made us laugh a lot but once we learned the rules and actually got to playing, it was boring. I was hoping it was like the original Monopoly just with Fortnite characters but it’s not, it’s NOTHING like the original Monopoly.

First off, to other reviewers of this game, get over the “have to unlock games” rant. I almost did not buy game because of that complaint. Imagine my surprise when it took me all of 45 minutes of play to unlock all the games. I played each of the unlocked games like 4 times and had earned enough tickets to unlock the remaining games and I suck at gaming. The games are a mix of silly games and fun games with a few really good games. It is a good mix that will entertain children and pass some time for adults. Up to 4 players can play each game and if you play alone you play against 3 AIs at you choice of easy, medium and hard. once you unlock all the games, use can use your tickets to unlock customizations for you game character avatar. Well worth the low cost, only cons are a few of the games are too silly to warrant repeat play and there should be something else you could do with all the tickets you amass

need i say more? the game is basically unplayable for 50% of the gaming population.(edit) For anyone who has ever played a FPS or even a 3rd person shooter like Resident Evil 4, you’ll automatically know that using stick controls for aiming feels more natural to pull back to aim up and push forward to aim down. it’s just like having a camera on a tripod. you pull back/down to aim up. Or in flight simulators, you pull back/down to go up. so, it’s expected that the majority of gamers are used to this because we’ve been conditioned over years of gaming to expect controls that react this way. The C stick in the original Luigi’s mansion has an inverted Y axis as well. I have no idea why nintendo would not include this simple option especially when it is the norm to have inverted Y axis for shooting/aiming games.Motion controls are available for aiming and they react in the expected “pull back to aim up” way, but the motion controls are not remotely as responsive as say splatoon 2. the motion controls feel locked and unnatural and eventually end up drifting so you are stuck at full up or down and have to revert to the stick to correct it.For me, nintendo overlooking/ignoring the invert Y axis option is literally as stupid as forgetting to include the software on the cart altogether. it’s a huge blunder. To sum things up, the controls feel utterly unnatural to the point where I absolutely cannot play this game. A quick google search on this topic shows that other people are annoyed by this as well and consider it a deal breaker. Nintendo had better patch this.(edit) I got 5 hours into this game and could not get used to the lack of inverted Y axis and deleted my game data. I got to a boss that requires you to quickly vacuum up a projectile, then accurately and quickly fire it back. Which is completely impossible when all of the controls are backwards. Randomly vacuuming and collecting money is remotely doable with backwards controls, but reacting quickly and accurately against enemies is impossible. Thanks nintendo.

Typical Luigi Mansion game. Use Polterguest to solve creative puzzles. This time, there are new abilities to play around with—Story:Mario, Peach, and Toads are kidnapped during their stay at a hotel. Luigi goes through haunted hotel to save them.—GraphicsWay better than past games with excellent lighting and textures. Love the characters facial and body animations in this game as it gives them a lot of personality. Most objects are not bolted to the ground so you can interact with them. One of the best looking games on the Nintendo Switch—Gameplay:–Poltergust G-00:Main vacuum weapon of this game. Way too overpowered especially with the slam move. No Ghostbusters drag tug-o-war in this game. Most enemies are taken out by shining light to stun them, then suck them up, slam them till they burst into coins.Combat is pretty weak, but the puzzle elements are really funAble to suck up items/enemies, blow air out.Use Light and Dark flashlight like in the ‘Dark Moon’ gameSuction shot: shoot a plunger to attach and throw heavy objectsBurst attack: shoot down dust to jump, move ground items out of the waySlam: suck up ghosts by the tail and slam them around like Hulk did to Loki the Avenger’s movie–Guigi:A goo or slim version of Luigi.Able to go between vents, spikes and other objectsBut is weak to water and he’ll melt like the witch from the Wizard of OzYou Switch between Luigi and Guigi to pull levers simultaneously, hit switches at different locations, hold an object, boost up another player, etcA second player can drop in-out at anytime to play Guigi. More fun with more a second player.Even though regular enemies are easy to take down, boss battles are creative puzzles in itself and a major highlight of the gameDifferent themes each floor. Levels are separate and not interconnected like past games. You move through levels from the elevatorMain highlight are the creative environmental puzzles and use of various abilities from Poltergust G-00 and Guigi to solve themCollectables: 6 unique optional jems on each floor. They are well hidden, encourages exploration–Multiplayer modes:Scare Scraper: Local or online. Play 5 or 10 randomly generated floors with up to 4 players. Must beat floor within time frame. There’s not much teamwork as you can essentially beat the mode by yourself if it weren’t for the time limit. You just need more people to cover more ground.Scream park: local mini games similar to Mario Party. Up to 8 players, but team based and need even number of people to playOverall: very good sense of accomplishment when solving puzzles. Game has a lot of charm to it with fun characters and enemies.

I ended up playing it with him and it was very easy to learn everything and fun. It has extra twists added to the game which makes it much more interesting. A must have for all Fortnite lovers who also enjoy board games.

Really fun! there are games that are from NES SNES and arcade! Also some fun custom ROMS. The sound can get nice & loud without distortion, nice & clear. The color seemed slightly off, would be nice if there was a way to adjust the red/green balance. The games run flawlessly. The little controller that came with works nicely, played a few different 2 player games with it. The game titles are confusing at times, likely due to it being also in Chinese on this machine. Maybe rough translation? It’s overall really fun & well made. I ended up buying 2 (1 for each boy 🙃)

This controller does not work with COD mobile or PUBG at all. There is a Razer Kishi app that shows you what games are compatible even there there is nothing stated in the instruction manual. Used this with a Note 10+ and this stretched the controller to its limit. For some reason, I kept losing internet connection when the controller was on but worked when it was off so there is some obstruction by the controller. I really hoped this would be the ultimate controller but judging by the supported games, it is not worth the $90 I paid. There are $40-$50 Bluetooth controllers that will work with FPSs.

I don’t do reviews very often… But this is ridiculous. I managed to snag one right before they went out of stock. Excited after owning the Junglecat, this controller would allow me to play longer sessions with the pass through charging. It arrived, and to my frustration, it doesn’t fit my Razer phone 2…..what… The heck….?How is the phone controller, by the same company not fit the phone by the same company….?No mention of anything on any paperwork. After some research, it turns out, there are alternate sets of rubber grips, that work on the razer phones…. That you have to call razer about and order….. If they have any in stock…..? What in…. I’m beyond confused.

I bought this on launch day for my Note 9. My initial impressions:Pros:+ Offers a nice weight ratio to play in any orientation. No more sore wrists using top-heavy phone clips.+ Analog sticks are great. No discernible dead zones like what you see from an iPega or other pads like it.+ Passthrough charging is pretty nice.+ Good build quality. It feels much more solid than the Junglecat.+ Very low input latency.+ Plug and play (unless your phone is in a case). When you use it, you can expect your phone to see it as an X-input pad.Mixed:~ Most likely can’t use with your phone case. Max depth of phones it supports is 8.8mm. With my Note 9, which is also 8.8mm, there’s zero wiggle room for even the thinnest phone case.~ Buttons and D-pad, while responsive, feels mushy, yet the D-pad also feels a little too sensitive. It’s possible to hit diagonals while pressing just one direction on the D-pad, depending on the angle you press it in.~ Since it’s wired only, you can’t use it with anything but your phone.~ Native controller support is at best rare in the Android ecosystem, and trying to dabble in screen mappers is a quick way to get banned from Fortnite or whatever.Cons:- Can’t use with wired earphones. It’s still a leg up over the Junglecat that blocks both USB and earphones, but the Kishi’s other leg is planted firmly in the ground, right in front of the 3.5mm jack.- It can drain my battery pretty quick.- The app is just a cheap and slapped together directory listing of controller supported games. It’s really hard to find anything remotely interesting from this app, though.- For everything it has, or I guess that it doesn’t have, like a battery or wireless functionality, it’s weird to see it for just a little less than the Junglecat.

The controls work exactly how you’d expect them to and it’s got all the games I was hoping for (there are already several pictures posted listing all the games pre-installed so I won’t include them here). I was worried that the battery would be a failure point but it’s a standard BL-5C so grabbing replacements is a cinch (2 for $9 on Amazon!). The games I’ve tried played exactly how I remember and I was exactly as bad at them as I remember. For how cheap this is, it’ll be a great addition to the old-school video poker games laying around the house.

This game stopped improving more than half a decade ago, but this year is significantly worse than last year. They’ve given up trying to improve the game and now just worry about in app purchases and advertising. Guards are shooting 20% right now, but you can bet all the advertisements and VC purchases are front and center. Hopefully for next gen they worry more about basketball than getting pressured by Ronnie 2k to put him into the game

This game is straight up broken. Shooting is next to impossible with the new shot stick and it’s nigh-on impossible to advance in MyCareer without spending real $$ for VC. It’s the most cash-grabbiest game I’ve played in over 25 years of gaming. Endless cutscenes in MyCareer with virtually no real impact from your choices, CPU makes practically every single shot while you drop brick after brick, defense is a joke, and dribbling is horrible. Save yourself the hassle of buying this game, getting your hopes up for a fun basketball game, being frustrated at the terrible experience, and then sending the game back.

Love old games and platinum’d Meat Boy, Sekiro, and nearly Death Stranding so I’m used to hard and frustrating, but holy cow 64 and Sunshine need quality of life updates BAD.Played a bit of Mario 64 and had to stop because the camera is just awful and it has not aged well. Unless you’re already really familiar I just don’t see anyone enjoying it unless you REALLY like kinda clunky 3d platformersI’m 33 stars into Sunshine and it’s just such a slog getting kicked to the main area every single time you die that I’m already getting tired of it.L1 brings up a map which has a 3 second animation to open and close every time you accidentally press it trying to long jump or whatever.long unskippable cutscenes, slow text boxesYour fludd nozzle gets changed anytime you go anywhere so i tend to fall to my death expecting to have the hover jets equipped constantly but nope. It’s by far the most charming 3d Mario I’ve played but it’s rough.Just started Galaxy and it still has the Wii UI and you have to use motion controls just to select a save spot and start the game. changing my rating to 1 star, i hate this and am going to sell it as soon as i get tired of SunshineEdit*64 doesn’t get better than just jumping around the castle for me, the levels are just not very fun.Got 83 stars in Sunshine and im not bothering with the last 2 red coin missions. It’s a buggy, untested game with lots of charm but it generally kinda sucks outside of aesthetics. Every problem I listed annoyed me the entire playthrough. Also every single thing involving yoshi is bad. Feeding him, the unmovable egg, spawn location, dying in water, and i think he just explodes when his fruit meter runs out? i honestly dont get why they even put him in this game. its just redundant with fludd, he jumps slightly higher and sprays water… cool.Galaxy is weird. collecting sparkles sucks and it has the worst camera of the bunch, touchscreen is bad, button prompts are big shaking joycons, and the beginning is kinda awful. but once i started crawling around on the giant bee it got a lot better. I might like this one, not sure yet

NBA 2K21 – PlayStation 4 so happy to finally get to use this. my daughter was not letting breathe till it makes it to the house. just the right game that she was waiting for to create her avatar players. not much of a big deal. only camera adjustment is only a good thing everything else suck. the graphic is nothing new with the new animation.

My rating does not reflect the quality of the 3 games included. Each is a masterpiece and handles well. In terms of compilation quality, this is pretty poor. There are no options for the video. There is no ability to remap buttons. The menus are super basic and offer one special feature: soundtracks. There’s no concept art, interviews, scans of the instruction manual, box art, basically anything other collections have done far better than this effort from Nintendo. If you go in expecting no bells and whistles, you shouldn’t feel surprised by the lack of bonus content. Essentially, you’ll learn more from YouTube videos delving into the history of these games than you will from the compilation itself.

Pros:__________• The pricing for this machine is spot on. Throughout the years of these designs, the basic platforms are defiantly an agreeable price range. This is coming from a person who has bought the past two models.• Gaming Virtual Reality (VR) is a different world of gaming. Since many haven’t experienced this before, I’ll say that the games are playable, fun, and defiantly something you’ll use numerous times.• Of all programs in the Oculus, my favorite is the Netflix’s app. When in use, the Oculus takes you to a ski lodge where you’re sitting in front of a huge TV. This creates and awesome experience when you’re watching a movie on it (you will get lost in where you’re at.).• There are also numerous short clips that take you throughout the world. Want to run into the stadium during the start of the NFL game, you can do that? Fly in a black hawk helicopter, yes you can. What I love about the Oculus is that it’s so much more than a gaming counsel.• Compare to the previous design this Quest is a little smaller, but does have the same rounded plastic front. This helps reduce its weight when wearing it.• The link cable is significantly longer than the previous model. This was a big issue for me because a short cable restricts your movements. Moving the USB-C port connector in the back surprisingly aids in making sure the cable doesn’t get in my way if I need to charge it while playing.• Motion tracking is accurate. The camera also tracks the controllers pretty accurately. I try to trick it, but the camera sensors weren’t playing around. This feature was also integrated with the original Rift. Both aided in making it an immersive experience.• Appreciate the built-in a 3.5mm headphone jack. The days of headphone jacks are gone, which makes this a great perk in my eyes.• Adjusting the eye mask was super easy for me and my niece. She’s 10 years old and wears glasses. The Quest has a separator that lifts the headset away from your face. It’s an accessory that comes with the Quest and a great tool for those who need glasses.• The straps do a pretty good job of balancing the weight of the headset. It’s important to note that the headset isn’t that heavy in the first place since most of it is made of plastic. I and my niece gave it a B on adjustments (Kinda annoying when you’re getting used to it).• I felt these controllers are a little more thinker than the previous model, but it gives you a feeling that these controllers are secure if you accidentally drop them.• One of the best designs in the controller is the battery door (That’s right). What I hated about the past models was the battery door of the controllers would come off very easily, resulting in frustration when playing a game. It looks like the Oculus team has listened and fixed this problem. Very happy about this.• For the battery power controllers, I got two weeks, using it an average of an hour a day. But if you’re going to watch movies than expect a longer time before replacing it. An improvement for sure.• Backward compatible gaming.• The higher display is noticeable different compare to the previous model. Everything looks sharper, higher saturated, and overall crisp. For those who are new, it’s similar to looking at an HD TV very close. It’s great in quality, but if you focus you can see each pixel. This isn’t a real problem because the imagery is very vibrant (50% more pixels than the previous model). I played Gun Club and it’s quite an experience shooting at the driving range with the display.• Overall I played with probably random games before this review, and not once was this machine slow in speed when moving around. My only advice is to have two arm lengths of room all around. Many times in past models my feet have hit too many hard pieces of furniture.• Very simplistic about learning to play with this machine. There are around 2-4 buttons you use daily. Young and old will be able to use this without issue (downloading games might not be for them).• It supports Wi-Fi 6. This means faster downloads, consistent connection, and efficient wireless streaming. Not putting too much in this because my Wi-Fi connection is already pretty strong, but this is useful for those who have a weak one.Cons and Oks:__________• You need a Facebook account to use this machine. Want to be off the grid, don’t want companies to use your data, you’re out of luck. Either sign up on Facebook or don’t play.• What happens if you get suspended on Facebook, or your account is locked? Can I make a fake account or will that be blocked? These are questions that the Oculus team hasn’t yet given us a solution for.• Again privacy issues come into play with Facebook because they have the option to target ads based on the games you’re playing.• The battery life still stinks. Maybe 2.5 hours if I play it safe. For gaming all the time I got around 2 hours. Watching “Lost in Translation” (2 hr film), brought it down to 10% (BTW, a great film to watch with this). It’s basically the same battery life as the original.• When you get around 15% battery life, a popup will tell you to plug it in. This is very annoying if you’re in a movie or playing a game. Just make an alert noise Oculus team.• Even though it’s smaller than the previous model, it’s still a pain in traveling with this. You can’t just put it in your bag. The lenses are the most concerning because a scratch in them can destroy your whole experience.• I found the hand tracking system is “someone” accurate if you’re comparing it to the original Quest. But gestures like pinching or turning your palm I notice it gets accidentally triggered by mistake. Also at times the Quest fails to register my hand movements altogether. It’s still a perk that you’re able to tweak the settings to fit your comfort, but still not the main controller replacement.• The Quest has an elite strap that is around $50. This concerns me because they’re basically saying that the straps that are on the VR might break.• Never a fan of USB Type-C charging because it takes over an hour to charge the Quest fully. With an average of 2 hours of use, you can see the math of how much you need to charge it. Also I notice that a compute charge connector isn’t quicker than connecting to a wall socket.• Still AA batteries for the controllers. Even though the battery length has increased, it’s annoying because no has AA on standby. I had to go to a gas station for AA just for this device since all my tech tools can be rechargeable.• The black levels are a little less improved, or equal, from the previous model. Still decent, but nothing impressive.• Whish they kept the small fabric lining in the inside of the device. Sadly that’s gone.• FYI, many games will give you motion sickness. For me, they are the roller coaster and the space battle games.• They have a virtual desktop system where you can wirelessly stream your computer to the Oculus for the cost of $20. Don’t get this. Overpriced and no quick way to type as you have to move the controllers to each letter on the virtual keyboard one at a time.• As of late 2020, there hasn’t been establishing games that use the Oculus to its full 90 Hz potential.• Connecting the Oculus to a computer while playing does give you a boost in speed in my eyes. With potential games like Half-Life, you want to play the game in the best graphics you can. Using without a computer will kill your battery life probably in an hour when playing a game like that.• Facebook has officially discontinued the Oculus Rift S and the Oculus Quest, leaving Oculus Quest 2 the only one it’s focusing on.• Be warned: if you live in a cold environment, you need to wait until the Oculus heats up. If you put it on right away, the lenses will fog up. The reason why is because we give off heat and when you have something warm near something cold, condensation becomes the problem. Sadly there is no solution other than waiting it out or to turn on your heater.• There are still limits to this tech. Most games are not visually real-life realistic.• You’re staring at a computer screen inches from your eyes. Expect some eye irritation when you’re wearing it for at least an hour. Note that I felt no eye irritation when watching a movie but only when I’m playing an active game.• The built-in speakers are average. No bass, thin, no immersive feeling, overall just volume. Games like Beat Saber are best with headphones (In fact everything you use with this needs headphones). This is a nice gesture for the people around you because let’s be honest, no one wants to hear what you’re playing.• As of late 2020 Facebook isn’t letting developed ship Quest 2-exclusive content. Everything is under Facebook. Complete control.Bottom Line:__________A great price for what you’re getting, if you’re new to join the VR world. I used to be against this but I come to realize that the Oculus brings you to a world of not only gaming, but for watching movies, and YouTube web browsing. Not many can say that they have a 70inch television or an in-home movie theater. The Oculus gives you that. You can play poker with an avatar figure of your choice, or watch TV if you use an app like Sling. I watched last year’s Super Bowl on the previous model, and it was a great experience. For previous Oculus owners, I’ve tested/used the original Quest and posted the review on Amazon. I can say confidently that that 95% of that review can be applied to this Quest. Feel free to look it up because the Quest 2 is really just a small upgrade in my book. The display has improved but most everything else has been upgraded a tad. Obliviously I wasn’t able to test 90 Hz games fully, as they will be available I believe in 2021, but the experience of playing this Oculus hasn’t decreased the experience of playing in VR.In the end VR is slowly growing but it’s going to take maybe 2 years before it becomes a full marketable industry. Playstation VR was a help, but other than that there are few anchor titles in the VR world. Yet I see this as an investment for next year because it seems Oculus just wanted to put this out before Christmas without really having the upgraded games that the Oculus’s processor can give. When the 90 Hrz games come out, then this industry will start getting interesting. Other than that, you have the Facebook issue, which is annoying, but you can’t win them all.Overall: 2020-2021 best Virtual Reality for all ages, but not a must-have for those who already have the previous model.(Edit: I decided to lower the review down from 4 to a 3-star review in order to put a focus on the complete control Facebook has on this Oculus. You’re paying $300, no including the games, and Facebook can disable your account at a moment’s notice, making this nothing more than a paperweight. As of 2020, this policy has been in effect and it’s something that you really need to take into consideration before buying this.)Hope I was a help to you.Love,Honest Reviewer

I’ve been looking forward to this VR headset since they announced it. I pre-ordered it as soon as possible, and I didn’t even care if you had to log in with facebook. I didn’t have a facebook account, so I made one about a week before I was getting my quest 2 in my excitement as October 13th grew closer. October 13th comes, I get my headset, I try to log in to use my quest 2 and start buying games right away, and I was stopped in my tracks to find that facebook just disabled my profile the same day. Why? I would also like to know. I filled out the appeal they asked for, sent them a picture of my driver’s license (which is super messed up btw) and I have no idea what so ever when I’m gonna be able to use my headset. It’s a $300 paper weight sitting on my desk. If facebook’s algorithm decides to disable your account, your quest 2 will completely useless, you’ve been warned…

Spiderman Miles Morales is an amazing addition to the Spiderman video game universe. It’s beautiful on PS4 Pro, and feels very new and improved from the original. There’s a solid 10-15 hrs of story gameplay, but it’s got plenty of web-swinging, crime-fighting replay value. The new abilities are a blast and the map is full of new activities and things to explore. The story really has heart and adds so much to Miles’ character, along with Into the Spider-verse.The soundtrack bumps and its never been more fun to be Spiderman.I would say the amount and QUALITY of content is absolutely worth the price, even for the PS4 version, which just lacks ray-tracing, faster load times, and 60fps.Have fun!

I’ve gotten about 6 hours into this game so far, and in the introduction sequence, I was amazed. It was the most fun I’ve had in a video game in a long time. But after that, it felt incredibly repetitive. The swinging got boring quickly and the combat was the same as in the last game (But with a few new moves). But here is my biggest flaw: MILES MORALES HAS NO PERSONALITY. He feels like a blank slate who makes quips sometimes. I really liked Miles in the last game, but his character is so boring in the new one. It feels like an insult to fans of the old game.

They replaced peter parker with a new actor. It looks awful and feels like an imposter has replaced peter parker. I feel so betrayed by insomniac. An obvious cash grab by making him look like a discount Tom Holland. Not my peter parker. You can’t just make us get all attached to a character then replace him with some little punk and think we won’t care. Bring back the old actor or I am done with this series.

This is NOT a child’s game console! A lot of inappropriate racial, gender oriented games that would offend a lot of parents/people. Proceed with caution as this is featured as a child’s or family game and it does have that type of content on several games. Research on YouTube to view some of the content in these Super mini SN-02 units before buying.

Walmart, you need to give people time to actually be able to review the product. I’m actually five stars for how quick it was delivered to the house. As far as the actual game, I couldn’t really tell you. I bought it before Christmas because it is going to be given at the cousin grab bag. I will have to review it later after I see how she likes playing it.See more

Imagine, if you will, a tutorial level in a mid-tier early 2000s stealth game. Now, picture yourself playing that level over and over again in succession for a ten hour campaign. I won’t ramble about all of this game’s failings (since there are too many to adequately expound upon – the simple combat and frail enemies stood out the most), but I will tell you to avoid wasting your money and time.UPDATE: I went back and tried to do a 100% completion run and had the very first side-quest glitch out on me. Now I’m four hundred different types of sad.

As a kid, I remember renting Werewolf for NES and I was enamored with it. When I saw this, although not familiar with the tabletop game, I had to buy. I just am a huge werewolf fan. I love them for some strange reason. I am about 2 and a half hours in on Series X. First, the bad. The character models on NPCs are a little rough. Odd glassy eyes—strange animation—enemies are kind of dumb and you can pretty much exploit the dumbness and wipe out an entire facility without them catching your scent…get it. But, I kind of didn’t care. I kind of loved that. And then I started swapping between wolf form and man and loved the smoothness of it—the little particles that shoot off and flake away. And then I became a werewolf and fell in love. You kind of just slash around in a ball of fury—flying around, ripping idiots apart—and I can see how that can get old over a long story, but right now—I am enjoying myself. It brings to mind Splatterhouse for PS3–not gold tier, but jump in and shut off your brain and I think there is some fun to be had here!

The formula for Werewolf consists of- sneak into a place, turn into a Werewolf, and kill everybody- including attacking your own friends. The issue is the stealth is no fun at all. The crossbow is lame. and the brief moments of fun rampaging enemies as a werewolf don’t last. The graphics are ok, but not next gen by any means. The story is bad and it tries to get you to care about people when you don’t know much about them, and the voice acting + script are pretty bad. Overall I would pass on this game.

Its a great game! I played a bit of it at a friends house. Most of the titles Wal-Mart sells are good to best. I’ve purchased the majority of my games at W.M. over the years. However, it seems Wal-Mart is forgetting how popular and the vast quantity of XBOX360 games they have sold. There are still hundreds of thousands of 360 gamers out here, yet Wal-Mart is offering less and less titles for us to enjoy. Please WM, check into this…See more
